By using the site lake.lindt.one, you accept the following terms.

Service description

lake.lindt.one is a free, non-commercial service that displays Swiss and French lake temperatures in real time. Data comes from public sources and is provided without guarantee of availability or accuracy.

User account

Account creation is optional and allows syncing preferences between devices. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Only one account per person is allowed.

Acceptable use

It is forbidden to: scrape or automate access to the site without authorization, attempt to bypass protections (rate limiting, anti-bot), use the service to harm third parties, or impersonate another user.

Limitation of liability

Temperatures and forecasts are provided for informational purposes only. The site author declines all liability for any damage resulting from the use of the displayed data. The service may be interrupted at any time without notice.

Intellectual property

The source code, design and editorial content of the site are the property of the author. Raw temperature data comes from public sources, but a proprietary calibration layer is applied by the author. The final temperatures displayed on the site, resulting from this calibration, are the intellectual property of the author and may not be reproduced, extracted or redistributed without permission.

Payments and donations

Payments and donations are processed by third-party services (Revolut, Twint). No payment data is stored on lake.lindt.one. Twint transaction fees (1.35% + CHF 0.30) are borne by the buyer. Payments via Revolut carry no additional fees. All prices are listed in Swiss francs (CHF).

QR sticker sales

QR stickers are sold and shipped by the site author. Deliveries are available in Switzerland and France. Prices include VAT. For orders from France, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies in accordance with European law. Delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. For any complaints: lake@lindt.one

API Pro

API Pro is a paid service providing access to temperature data via a programmable interface (REST). Payment is annual. The author reserves the right to suspend or terminate API access in case of abuse or non-payment. No SLA (service level agreement) is guaranteed. Pricing details are available on the API Pro page.

Changes

These terms may be changed at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Applicable law

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the canton of Vaud.
